How to make KARELA PICKLE

Ingredients used in KARELA PICKLE
• Oil – 5-8 tablespoons.
• Bitter gourd(small size) – 4 numbers.
• Mustard seeds – 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds – 1/2 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves – 2 springs.
• Dry red chillies – 2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon.
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder – 1 tablespoon.
• Salt – to taste.
• Fenugreek powder – 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder – 1/2 tea spoon.
• Mustard powder – 1 tablespoon.
• Sesame seeds powder – 1/2 tea spoon.
• Lime juice – 1 tablespoon.

Method:
Cut bitter gourd into round slices.

Heat 5 tablespoon oil in a pan and add oil, bitter gourd and saute it later transfer into a plate.

In the same oil add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and saute it.

Switch off flame and rest it for 5 minutes.

To it add red chili powder, salt, fenugreek powder, cumin powder, mustard powder, fried bitter gourd and mix nicely.

To it add sesame seeds powder and mix it.

Add lime juice, little more oil and mix nicely later store in jar.

After 3 days Kerala pickle is ready to serve.
