How To Make Boondi Recipe

It is a fried snack that can be prepared in two different flavors sweet and salty (khara) in large quantities and distributed to friends and relatives.

Boondi is a Indian snack made from Chickpea flour.

How to make Boondi

Cook time : 20 mins
Total time : 30 mins

Ingredients used in Boondi

• Water – as required.
• Red chilli powder – 1 tea spoon.
• Salt – to taste.
• Oil – as required.
• Fried peanuts – 1/2 cup.
• Fried curryleaves – 1 bunch.
• Besan flour – 1 cup.

Method:

Mix the besan, add little water to achieve the dropping consistency. Pour drops of this mixture into hot oil with a slotted spoon.

Deep fry till the drops become golden brown.

Drain to remove excess oil after removing boondi from oil.

Fry peanuts, curry leaves and sprinkle red chili powder and salt (as per your taste) after adding these mix this to boondi and mix well.
